From Browsing To Pickup

How It Works.

Spears Rentals does not use instant booking for trailer rentals. Every request goes through a straightforward qualification and approval process before the reservation is confirmed.

A Request Is Not A Reservation

Submitting your rental information starts the review process. Your reservation is confirmed only after Spears Rentals has approved the request and all required steps are completed.

Private pickup and return location details are provided only after the rental is fully confirmed.

Trailer Prequalification

What We Need Before Approval.

Trailer rentals require more than choosing an available date. Spears Rentals needs to make sure the renter and tow vehicle meet the requirements for the equipment being requested.

Missing, expired, or invalid documentation may prevent a trailer rental from being approved.

01
Valid Driver's License

The renter must meet the applicable age requirement and provide a current, valid driver's license.

02
Tow Vehicle Information

Year, make, model, and vehicle details are reviewed to help determine whether the vehicle is appropriate for the requested trailer.

03
Current Registration

The tow vehicle must have valid and current registration.

04
Current Insurance

Proof of applicable current auto insurance is required as part of the qualification process.

05
Tow Setup

Hitch setup, ball size, towing capacity, and brake controller requirements vary depending on the trailer.

06
Intended Use

Tell us what you are hauling or using the trailer for so we can confirm the equipment is appropriate for the job.

Personal Review

Sabrina Reviews Before Approval.

Spears Rentals intentionally does not automatically approve trailer reservations online.

Sabrina reviews each request to confirm that the renter, documentation, tow vehicle, towing setup, intended use, and requested trailer are an appropriate match.

This helps prevent unsafe towing situations, invalid rentals, equipment misuse, and problems that could put the renter, the public, or the equipment at risk.

Approval Stage Real Person.
Real Review.

A trailer is not considered reserved simply because a request has been submitted.

After Approval

Agreement. Payment. Confirmation.

Once the rental request is approved, the customer moves through the final steps required to secure the reservation.

01 Rental Agreement

Approved customers receive the applicable rental agreement to review and complete before the rental is confirmed.

02 Card & Payment

Required payment information is completed using a valid payment method associated with the approved renter.

03 Final Confirmation

After the required agreement and payment steps are complete, the reservation can be officially confirmed.

$250
Standard Trailer Card Authorization Hold

Trailer rentals normally require a temporary $250 credit-card authorization hold, similar to a hotel incidental hold. The authorization is handled according to the applicable rental agreement and released after the trailer is returned without qualifying damage or other applicable charges.

After Confirmation

Then You Receive Pickup Details.

Spears Rentals does not publicly advertise the exact location where rental equipment is stored and exchanged.

Once your reservation has been approved, all required steps are complete, and the booking is confirmed, you will receive the private pickup and return location along with any applicable instructions.

Security Policy Private Location
Until Confirmed

Exact pickup and return details are provided directly to approved renters after their reservation is confirmed.
